i juz came back to school this morning..took night train last night from Rome ..took us around 12 hours to reach Montreux..damn long right..but lucky the night train got bed one..hehe..so we slept on the bad in the small cabin..i am gonna blog about my journey 'n my impression of italy later..but first of all ..juz wanna wish everyone a Happy New Year first..well, juz now i was thinking about this moment last year..I spent it with Mei Sin, Jo 'n Zx..yeah..'n we went to Esplanade there to see the fireworks..it was crowded..'n we reached home at 3am..argh..how time flies..another year has passed..'n a lot of things happened in this year..i think this year is sort of a turning point for me..made a very big decision..k k..dun talk so much about it now first..

anyway, about my trip to italy..before i typed out what i did everyday for the whole week, i am gonna give my general impression about the place first..well, italy is not as good as I expected ..not as good as I thought it would be..really..the place is dirty..there is a lot of spits on the floor..a lot of bird shits..yeah..I can see lots of vandalism outside the train..'n inside the train station..the people are unfriendly..not only me who think so..yeah..bad attitude..'n poor service..really make my friends 'n me mad for dunno how many times..it's true that the scenery 'n the buildings are very nice..but other than that..no no no..the place is not tourist friendly..the tourist information centres are so hard to be found..tourist attracts have very few public toilets....the people are not helpful..'n we can also see beggars on the street..not saying that beggar is not allowed..but at first I thought that European countries should be quite well to do? after we went to Italy, we realised that Swiss is much more better than there..haha..although there are many complaints abt the place, we really went to many nice places in Italy, we went to see the figure David by Michelangelo in Florence, we went up to the leaning tower of Pisa, we went to the Vatican 'n Colosseum in Rome..we knew where Mozart 'n Marcopolo used to live in Venice..the only thing that we missed is the Last Supper drawing by Leonardo Da Vinci in Milan..cos the place is closed due to X'mas..

Rome alone has attracted so many tourists..compared to other cities..'n there are long queue at many of the tourist attracts in Rome, like Vatican 'n Colosseum..what I mean by long queue, is really a long one..dunno how many km ..juz to get the tix to go in..like for Vatican, we queued for almost one hour like tt..if in sg arh..even if my favourite stars came..i might nt go de lor..cos i dun like queueing..'n i oso dun like crowd..lol..but since I've go so far there..so might as well wait a while 'n take a look..

I like Venice..the place..a city on water..'n what makes me excited is that we took the Gondola Ride..the 'boat'..will post a pic of it here later on..

the Pisa..went up there..really very slanted lar..quite scary..haha..we had to walked up the stairs ..will post a pics of it here oso..
