last night, was chatting with my colleague, mdm h, while waiting for customers. we were chatting abt her son 'n life here in switzerland.b4 i continue, will type a little backgrd info abt her first. she is a vietnamese, her husband is working in the embassy, she has stayed in swiss for 5 yrs, has a 7 yrs old son 'n nw is pregnant with her 2nd child.

k.so she told me how his son love to go to school here, nt like in asia whereby children afraid, even dun like to go school. i think it is because of the way they teach here. nt always studying, but mixed with playing as well. she told me that primary 'n secondary school here is quite easy but it gets harder when get into high school or even university.

'n do u know that the children in primary school here dun have to go to school on wednesday, saturday 'n sunday? lol.it's like half of the week liao lar..i'm nt sure abt the sec sch students.but i think almost the same ba.then she told me that everyday, her son brings nth to sch 'n brings nth back to home.lol.can juz leave everything in sch. lol.

k.'n the switz govt is soo gd towards the youngsters, the teens, the children here. the welfare for them is so gd. how gd? k, she told me that she doesn't have to pay for sch fee for her child, only the lunch fee for like abt 100 francs a mth. then, the school will give the child all the things that they needed for study, like books, stationary, etc. 'n the swiss govt will give each child a 'salary' per mth. like every children under 10 yrs old will be given 100+ francs per mth, 'n the sum get higher when the child gets older. he/she will be given 'salary' till 18 yrs old. (i'm nt sure whether it's given to their parents or how they give it...but it is definitely meant for the children )

when i reached home 'n told jn abt it, she said she knew abt tt cos i think her boss told her. 'n she even added that her boss's house rent got a reduced price because her 16 yrs old daughter is staying with them. so gd hor.haha..so ppl, can consider working 'n having children in swiss. i won't consider abt it though, cos despite of the gd welfare, the living condition here is high, too. house rent is ex, food is ex..bla bla bla...

oh yeah, i also know that many of the youngsters here come out to work early.yeah..think they dun really like studying 'n wanna earn money faster..so some of them didn't complete their study, to get a certificate or degree..but think they still manage to get themselves a job here. it's so different with asia, whereby ppl study 'n study, to get the highest qualification.

some update abt myself : tired. really tired. today is my only whole day off for this wk. but later gotta go out with jn to settle some things. pay insurance fee, get bus pass done, 'n house rent, too.things that have to be done at the end of the month. did my laundry as soon as i woke up.

oh yeah, i'm very happie to have gd colleagues working with me in autogrill balexert. cos sometimes when i need help, they really try their best to help me. feel so bad to disturb them sometimes though. lol. like for example, when i need to change some $ for the cash when the office is closed, i go to pizza&pasta, when i need to make bière pression or panaché, i go pizza&pasta, when i need to make renvérse, i go there again. lol..cos asia dun have. then have to trouble the colleagues there to help me make. troublesome me hor..lol..(no, should be troublesome customers =P ) ..anyway, really thankful to those who have helped me there.
