i hate last minute things. it leaves u with no preparation time at all..although nt applicable to my case today, but still it's so sudden..today, as usual, i woke up early in the morning, bathe, all dressed up, eating my breakfast, ready to go out at anytime, 'n i heard my hp vibrating..so i picked up the call, 'n it's from the chef, my supervisor..he called to tell me that today 'n tmr i'll be off..'n i'll report back to work on wed..i was like orh ok..why call me now??if i know about it earlier, i can still sleep what..lol..'n anyway my break for this week is supposedly tue 'n wed..according to what i know..but why change so sudden?

well, my timetable for this month hasn't come out yet..i dunno why..the timetable for the rest of my colleagues are already up there but there my name isn't on the paper..i think they might have a hard time arranging my timetable? i dunno.. cos mr.c told me that i have to clear my work time before i can go for my vacation (which i took at the end of july, that explains why i can go back to sg so early ) yeah..few days ago i signed the time log for may 'n i saw mine -45 hours lol..it's the time accumulated. like for march, i did +17 hours but i think i have too many off days in april 'n may. that's why. hmm..i wonder how i am gonna clear it before mid july..lol..

anyway, the business has been good recently. might be because of the weather? or maybe everybody has just gotten their salaries..haha..oh yeah btw, u know what.. in sg, i've never taken note of the weather forecast one..i think nobody did..who cares about the weather, only boring ppl do..but here in swiss, everybody seems to care about the weather ( everybody? or at least ppl working in f&b line, including me)..everytime there is a chance, i will check the weather forecast for the day or maybe also the week from the newspaper..cos the business of the restaurant is more or less affected by the weather..as i've said in the previous entry.

anyway, i've been saying to jn that ppl here don't just leave after they eat...they will usually stay sitting, even after they have finished eating, 'n then continue chatting till late.. nt like us, i mean after we finished eating, we might be sitting but for just a while 'n after that we will get the bill 'n left..yeah..it's like so different.. so we concluded that the people here don't come to eat just because of the food, but also the ambience..the mood..especially if the restaurant has a good ambience to have a LONG CHAT..lol..

but sometimes it is tiring de lor..i mean for us who are serving them..especially when we were about to close..or worse..we are ALREADY CLOSED..but they still sit down there chatting like nobody business..'n they won't leave until u politely go to them 'n tell them that you are already closed..lol..although i am nt sure whether we are ALLOWED to do so..that's what i sometimes do anyway..shh..no lar..i mean i have got nth to do liao..everybody has left..'n i am left there waiting for them to leave 'n clear their table.. so am i really going to wait for that 1 table until they left at dunno when? so sometimes i wait, sometimes when i'm really damn tired, i'll told them we are closed.

okie so i told my friend, maybe i'm not going to do f&b dept nxt time..i dunno..haha..but really..i realised now that serving others might not be the things that i like to do..so why am i in service line now? lol..so contradicting. i rather be served than to served others. HAHA.

yeah..was also discussing with jn that we are in hospitality industry, actually most of the time is we see other ppl enjoying themselves while we are working. for example, the Walt Disney ppl came to our school last time to give a talk abt working there.. Walt Disney..seems so fun, every children's dream place. but imagine working there. u've to wear the costume for long hour, so tiring, u have to entertain others, u have to sweep the floor, u have to control the rides..seems tough..so, are you gonna 'hate' Disney after u are working there? lol..yeah unless u REALLY like to see ppl happy, enjoying themselves, u LIKE to entertain others. ..or else, don't work in this line. lol.
